Workspaces (Team Plan)
Workspaces are shared spaces where teams can collaborate on agreements. Instead of everyone managing agreements individually, a workspace gives your team a single place to create, view, and track agreements together.
Workspaces are available on the Team plan ($99/month or $79/month billed annually). See pricing →
Creating a workspace
Go to Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
Create a new workspace
Under the Workspaces section, click Create Workspace. Give it a name (e.g., your company or team name).
You’re the admin
As the workspace creator, you’re automatically an admin. You can invite members, manage roles, and create agreements within the workspace.
Inviting members
You can invite team members to your workspace by email:
- Open your workspace from the Settings page
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address — they’ll receive an invite link that’s valid for 7 days
- Once they accept, they can see and participate in workspace agreements
Invite links expire after 7 days. If someone’s link expires, you’ll need to send a new invitation.
Member roles
Workspaces have two roles:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Create agreements, invite/remove members, manage workspace settings |
| Member | Create agreements, view workspace agreements, participate in approvals |
The workspace creator is always an admin. Admins can promote members to admin or remove them from the workspace.
Workspace agreements
When you create an agreement, you can choose to create it in a workspace so that all workspace members can see it:
- Workspace agreements appear in every member’s dashboard under the workspace name
- Any workspace member can view agreement details, status, and history
- Only the parties listed on the agreement can approve or take actions — workspace membership alone doesn’t grant approval rights
Workspace visibility is separate from agreement roles. Being in a workspace lets you see an agreement, but you still need to be a listed signer to approve or cancel it.
What happens when members leave
When a member is removed from a workspace (or leaves voluntarily):
- They immediately lose access to all workspace agreements in their dashboard
- Any agreements where they are a listed signer still function normally on-chain — blockchain agreements don’t depend on workspace membership
- They can still interact with agreements via direct link if they’re a signer
What happens if the subscription lapses
If your Team plan subscription expires or is cancelled:
- Existing agreements remain accessible and continue to function normally on the blockchain
- Workspace management features (inviting members, changing roles) are restricted until the subscription is renewed
- Workspace members can still view and interact with existing workspace agreements
- You cannot create new workspace agreements until the subscription is active again
Your on-chain agreements are never affected by subscription status. The smart contract operates independently — even if your MyPact subscription lapses, funded agreements continue to work as expected.
